BOTTLE & CONNECTION
Bottle Neck & Connection Guide
Use the complete bottle connection information to narrow the pump selection. A shared number is not a complete fit specification: the connection design and the rest of the bottle-and-pump assembly still need review. This guide separates threaded and snap-on information and shows what to confirm when comparing 28/400 and 28/410 options.
Threaded and Snap-on Connections
Current Product Examples
The Syrup Pump range lists 28/400, 28/410, 31/410, 38/400 and 38/410 closures. The PET Syrup Bottle range includes threaded 28/400, 28/410 and 38/410 models, as well as the separate snap-on option.
When comparing a 28/400 syrup pump with a 28/410 syrup pump, keep the complete designation in your purchasing brief. Do not select on “28” alone or assume that different connection codes are interchangeable. 1001B-28400-8CC lists a 28/400 closure; 1001B-28/410 lists 28/410. Both list 5 ml, 8 ml and 10 ml configurations, but matching dosage options do not make the connections equivalent.
These values help identify product records, not pre-approved bottle-and-pump combinations. Bottle height, dip tube, pump structure and application remain part of the compatibility review. A shared model name across the bottle and pump categories does not prove fit.
For the 28/410G and 28/410L models, the closure size is listed as 28/410, while their closure thread shapes differ from the standard model. Include the full model code and bottle details rather than treating all three as a confirmed substitute for one another. Thread pitch, turn counts and manufacturing tolerances require the applicable drawings and product evidence.
Before ordering, confirm the full connection designation and actual bottle drawing, the model and dosage for the sample review, and any open dip-tube, bottle dimension or application questions. Confirm sample arrangements separately with the sales team. For a quotation, send the reviewed model, quantity and destination through Request a Quote.
What to Send for a Compatibility Review
- Exact bottle and proposed pump references, with clear photos of the bottle, neck and existing closure.
- Bottle drawing or supplier connection specification, with revision identified.
- Bottle height, capacity and available internal dimensions, with units, plus existing or required dip-tube information. Use the measurement checklist to prepare these details.
- Required dosage and intended application.
- Fit or sample questions to resolve before ordering. A photograph can help identify an issue, but is not a precise engineering drawing.
