PRODUCT SELECTION

How to Choose a Syrup Pump

Choose a pump around the bottle and dispensing requirement, not the model name alone. Connection, bottle dimensions, dosage and dip-tube details need to be considered together. This guide helps you shortlist the current models and prepare the information needed for a product review before ordering.

Review These Selection Factors

Start with the Bottle

Identify the exact bottle or container you intend to use. Send a model reference, clear photo or supplier drawing if available. A label such as “750 ml bottle” describes volume but does not specify the complete connection or dimensions.

Check the Connection / Neck

Record the full neck or closure designation, not just a diameter or brand name. The current pump range includes 28/400, 28/410, 31/410, 38/400 and 38/410 options. If the connection is uncertain, use the Bottle Neck & Connection Guide to prepare the details for review.

Confirm Bottle Height

Provide the overall bottle height and any available internal dimensions or assembly drawing. Do not infer the required dip-tube dimension from bottle capacity alone. The Bottle Measurement Guide lists useful photos and measurements to provide.

Choose Required Dosage

State your intended output in ml per complete stroke. The listed 1001B models have 5 ml, 8 ml and 10 ml configurations; the listed 1501/501C and 1501C models have a 15 ml dosage. Configuration selection does not establish that one pump is adjustable during use. See the Pump Dosage Guide for model-specific information.

Consider the Application

Describe the syrup and how the pump will be used. Include any conditions or documentation requirements that matter to your purchasing decision. Do not treat a listed foodservice application as proof of a particular certification or tested performance under every operating condition.

Confirm Dip Tube Length

Provide the existing dip-tube dimension or a dimensioned drawing if available. If it has not been specified, identify it as a point for review instead of substituting an estimate. The tube requirement should be checked against the actual bottle and complete assembly.

Review Sample / Compatibility

Before deciding on a bulk order, list the fit and dispensing questions that need evaluation using the proposed configuration and actual bottle. Confirm sample availability and arrangements with the sales team; this guide does not promise a free sample or a specific supply time.

Do not select a pump from the model name alone.

For example, 1001B-28/410 lists a 28/410 closure and 5 ml, 8 ml or 10 ml configurations, while 1501C-38/410 lists a 38/410 closure and 15 ml dosage. These are examples of reading specifications, not recommendations for an unknown bottle.

Prepare the bottle reference, connection, available dimensions, required dosage, application, quantity and destination. Before a sample review, confirm the exact bottle and pump configuration, drawing revision, dip-tube information, dosage and intended use, and the observations your purchasing team will record. These preparation questions are not a test standard or a guaranteed fit.
